I have a 424d which is very simular, (I think the 444 was even better. We replaced a 8N with it and no comparison. great little tractor The only complaint I ever heard about them were they were a bear to steer if you didn't have power steering (which you have) and the brakes were not the best, but if adjusted they seem to work fine. Parts are a little harder to come by but not impossible. I use a little starting fluid in the cold but above freezing it starts with just the glowplugs. Id love to find a loader for ours
