Decided since I was going through everything on the 450D, I may as well change all of the filters and fluids. I called CIH and ordered the fuel filters, oil filter and the gaskets I needed. The boxes came in a few weeks ago, but I was putting the 3 point back on it dad took off years ago. I have done very little with it and I plan to mow pasture with it this Summer. Started going through the the boxes last night and there is this rubber washer about 3 inches in diameter and a 1/4 inch thick. I do not see anyplace in the manual to tell me where it goes. Anyone have any idea what it is used for? Also, I plan to use 10W40 Shell Rotella T in it like I do the truck and other tractors. Think this will be ok? A friend says I should use straight 30W. I have always had good luck with the Shell and would like to use it since I have cases of the stuff. Thanks in advance for your help.
