I don't have a W-4 book so this answer may have errors. Gears have to be changed out in sets or they will not engage, bind, or be sloppy. It gets complicated when adjacent gears are carved out the same chunk of metal. Fourth and fifth on the mainshaft are one piece. Third and fourth on the countershaft are also one piece. It seem likely you will have to change out alot more than one chunk of metal. You need to look at the parts books for both tractors. If you don't want to do the research, buy a rear frame from an H and install it on your W-4. You will have to retain the frame cover and axle housings. The tractor will be going faster when you are done. You can also swap out the transmission gears and retain your original differential ratio.

The need for fabricating becomes obvious when you go to buy any of these
