I am working on Dad's 51 Cub putting in a new clutch and pressure plate. I noticed the splines on the PTO shaft are badly worn and not allowing the pully to tighen down(new pully). I am going to have to get a good used one or go new. Does anybody out there have a good used one and what would I be looking at $$$ used? I can check on new one $$$ at local IH dealer if you all think that is way to go. I am assuming the back plate unbolts and plate with PTO shaft just pulls out the back. Am I correct? I also do not have a service manual and going to look at ordering one today for clutch repair and PTO replacement assistance. What brand book would be suggested.
