I think that would be paying too much for that type of tractor.. sounds lik eit needs tranny work, and the burning oil means overhaul time with that probably running a couple of grand for the tranny work and the overhaul.. if I were you I would look for a 666 Diesel.. they are hard to find, but they are VERY good runners.. had one growing up, they are very reliable german diesel engine... alot of pulling power ...Have fun and good luck..
