Re-checked the valves yesterday. #'s 1 and 8 were sloppy loose and the rest were too tight. Just set it cold to .20. Purrs like a kitten now... Was lots of condensation under the valve cover, will be glad when I can warm her up and burn it out. Clutch may be getting a little better too. After tinkering with it I wanted to drive it around some and in doing so went around the pasture and behind a hill and found a heifer with calving trouble, pulled and saved the calf, heifer I don't know yet. Would not have gone there if I weren't out driving the H around! Coincidence? Sure do like the way those old gassers run, different league than anything gas today... Makes me want to fix another one... don't tell the wife. Matt.
