A pulsing oil gage hand seems pretty much normal for the Farmalls of this era. Both my SH and SM so it. I've seen it also in friends' B, H, MD and others. The cause I believe is a combination of 2 things: 1 - Fluctuating oil flow (hence pressure) resulting from an oil supply hole drilled in a rotating part (camshaft maybe?) going in and out of register with the pressurized oil feed hole in he mating bearing, and 2 - A sensitive oil pressure gage (ie. a gage with very little damping of the movement) As long as your Super C is showing 1/2 gage when hot I wouldn't worry about it.
