As Hugh and others said, should be no problem adding a fast hitch to a 140. I have done this myself recently. The problem is finding a Fast Hitch complete and in good condition. I bought and older 140 not in very good condition just to get the fast hitch to put on my 1975 140. The hitch parts had been welded on and required some repair. Also, it was missing the draft control connecting rod that goes from the front of the bail to the right hand rockshaft on the touch control You can't plow with it without that part. I finally paid $75 plus shipping for a new one after searching shows, etc for a used one. You will need to make sure your 140 has the connection on the LH rockshaft for the helper spring. I think most have that. The Fast Hitch would work without the helper spring, but it's nice to have.
