Thanks everyone!! I will contact Mr. Durst to see about restoreing the existing seat for the FAA, then get a drawstring vinyl cover cushion. I have a copy of the B/W photo of the 1939 B prototype off of the Wisconsin site that shows the seat very dark compared to the tractor so the post about the very early ones being black seems to be right. The silver seems right because it would be a trim match to the galvanized rims. Thanks again.
