Thanks, guys, for all the replies. GeneP, I'll call you later today. Maybe we can get you directly in touch with Old. About the plumbing...Rich said the piping was plastic but not PVC. My mom has lived in several mobile homes, and I can tell you that some of the construction has been, uhhh, interesting. The less repair you have to do in one of those, the better. Let's hope in Old's case that the pipes are OK. He WILL have to fix the hole in the roof caused by the falling limb, however. He said he's leaving that in place until the weather clears. I would think he's packed something around it to keep the weather out.

My wife Susie says that, according to the latest weather report, more snow is headed for Old's area. Just what he needs.
