LQQk'n for some C parts and a li'l info

Look'n for some '51 "C" parts, specifically a seat spring (bounced off hauling it home from purchase :-( who'd ever thunk it), air cleaner from the carb up, lights (front/rear), and of course paint . . gotta have paint.
I don't have a manual yet . . can somebody tell me what the two little valves on the side of the pan are for?
I live near Dallas/Ft. Worth . . in case there a parts avail. close or fellow "C" owners.
