Roger, I was around all kinds on new Farmalls in the late 1940's and 1950's and I don't remember anything except the silver colored canvas seats on any of them. As noted in another post, Darrell Darst redoes them with the original canvas material. He is located in Madison, Missouri, phone (660) 291-8742, and his email is tracto@missvalley.com. He is a national IHC officer and advertises in the Red Power and Harvester Highlights magazines. He has covered three of them for my Farmalls and he does a first quality job. I myself wouldn't consider buying a reproduction as they all come in some sort of vinyl coverings which is certainly not original. Hope this helps, Hal.
