K-Mo is headed down the right track but didn't quite get there. When the Super A and it's descendents were supplied with the two way plough attachement they also came with a split rear rockshaft that allowed you lower one plough at a time. The holes that you see were for mounting the over-center lever assembly. This was used to support/hold up whichever side of the rockshaft(and therefore whichever plough) you weren't using. I hope this helps, if it's still a bit vague just say and I'll go out and try to snap a couple of pics on my Super A, tractorsam
