Either head will work on your M but as far as a aftermarket replacement cam what they are callen that fits M -450 are IMPO JUNK as they are the OLD M grind and will run and M fine but put one in a S/M -450 and it will run but will loose power from what ya had as i have alreay been there and done that . As my owen S/MTA ate the keyway out of the end of the cam and not having a bunch of time to send it out and have the cam welded up and done wright like i SHOPULD HAVE i just ordered in one of them replacement cams and lost luggen power and top end Hp. , Runs like a M now .
