To the best of my understanding the best grind for Power and torque is the 450 cam. The suppliers may have discontinued all other cams from inventory due to their less capable performance. The head is a bolt on process, and should be good. Using a 450 manifold/carb is also important, as is the use of the front cover and gears, but not necessary. Popup pistons can raise compression to levels that are much better for todays octane. Compression pressure in the area of 140psi or more is great. JimN
