The 340 is a nice tractor. The midwest they were popular cultivating tractors.They are pretty rare in the Northeastern US. Alot more utilities than Farmalls. Wide front Farmalls are pretty uncommon. They made a very nice tractor for the small farmer. Like others said, were not meant to replace the 300 or 350, they filled a gap between the 240 and 460.
