Yes. It is on all tractors with a two brush generator, or an alternator. Early forties and earlier had a similar device called a cutout relay) If the tractor is equipped with a generator (or old alternator with a external regulator) it will be a rectangular box mounted (usually) where it can be accessed. If the tractor has been modified with an alternator, it will most likely have a regulator inside the body of the alternator. A old autmotive book covering electrical systems is a great reading source for old Iron. I recommend that you purchase one and dive in. JimN
