If there is a regulator or cutout relay mounted to it, there will be two or three wires running to the tractor from the reg/cutout. They should be taped up and tagged as to the terminal they came off of. Send the gen and reg/cutout to the repair as a unit. If it has a seperate regulator not mounted on the gen. then there will be two wires connected. One fat wire and one small wire. The Fat wire goes on the A terminal, The thin wire goes on the F terminal. The Wires should be taped up and Tagged to be sure. Removing the mounts will losten the belt. Good luck, JimN
