I have an I-9 mag but the distributor cap has been off for many years. All the IH caps may be the same. My parts books would confirm that statement. D Slater has determined that the rotation is different from the other IH gas mags. The gas and diesel turn in the same direction on the big tractors. However, the gas and diesel use different part numbers. If you have an interest my mag, email me. I will look for the numbers on it. I can send pics as well.
