Thanks, Red. I think I'll change the oil this weekend if it doesn't snow again... About the axle grease -- so it's not that important if I don't pump until I see fresh grease coming out somewhere (like Dad always taught to do when greasing)? I've probably put at least three tubes of grease into each side and I wanted to check to make sure I wasn't doing something stupid. Dad didn't teach me how to load a grease gun very well... (4 tubes each side if you count the grease on ME! You'd think that a country of engineers who can build the Saturn 5, break the sound barrier and build a stealth bomber could design a grease gun that's easy to load)

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
