Comparing prices, it looks like the IH pistons and sleeves cost 3-4 times as much as the TISCO ones. The IH gaskets are 3 times the tisco price. Why is there such a big price difference ? The thing that is bothering me is that the spread is so much. I have always worked on the idea - Price, Service, Quality, Pick two. TISCO is doing sleeves and pistons for about $70 a hole. A piston for a chevy 350 is $35-50, and they made millions of them. At that rate, it does not leave much for the rings, pin, clips, and the sleeve. IH is $250 per cylinder and even if tractor parts are 2-3 times the price of car parts, it still seems a little steep. I can buy a set of factory pistons for a Norton motorcycle for $200 and they never made nearly as many of them as IH made C-123 motors. Facts ? Opinions ? Thanks Greg
