Derek, Thats must be a pretty standard problem on the letter series Farmalls with a working battery starter. I've had 3 Hs with the same problem. There is a sleve/ratchet in the bolster that is rusted in place. Sometimes you can soak em with penetrating oil and beat em loose. Worse case-remove the bolster & heat. There is a grease fitting on the bottom of the bolster that most guys ignored when they could just push the starter button. ken
