If you are cultivating and fertilizing, I don't see where weight and pulling power have anything to do with your decision, as neither is needed for those jobs - unless you are cultivating 10" deep (Haw-Haw!). You can see what you are cultivating and fertilizing better with the 140. You can do two rows at once with the SC - which only matters if you are working a large tract and hate spending time on a tractor.

Both are very fine machines. You can't go wrong either way.... unless you buy a worn out junker headache.
