A lot depends on soil. Here in Pa, if you were plowing land that hadn't been plowed in 30 years, I would think 2-16's would be good. Put 4-16's behind it and I don't think it could even move. Around here an M was a 2-3 plow tractor, and a lot of guys used 2-16's with them.
