I started up the ol" Super C a couple of days ago and quickly noticed that it was much louder than usual. After a quick look at everything, I noticed a hole in the exhaust side of the manifold the size of a quarter! So obviously I am in the market for a new manifold. The problem seems to be finding a new one that is exactly like the original. I have checked ebay and the parts section on this site but half of them either are poor quality foreign built parts with terrible castings. The other half are not what I would consider correct for an original restoration quality tractor. My original manifold has square casting marks on the front of the manifold. It has the IH part number on it and it has the hole drilled and tapped just above the carburetor mount. Does anyone know where to buy a correct manifold for these tractors? Thanks!
