I sold my 350 this summer. It had goods tires (1 new) and rims. The engine ran ok but not perfect, the low side of he t/a was out and the tranny had some minor issues. It also had a fast hitch, strait sheet metal and older paint. I got 1450 out of it.

Rims and tires are going to cost you quite a bit unless you can run onto a decent used set. I would agree that $1,000 might be a fair price but you never know.
