Are you talking about one of those ebay replicas ? Or more accurately one that the replicas copy ? The bar that you flip the lock up with using your left foot ? If so it just bolts to the platform in front of the steering post using two platform bolts with spacers under them I think . I've never used one but they look easy enough to install if that's the one you are talking about . If not Sorry , can't help . ...Randy PS - I've seen a couple of different types and the easieast one to use that I've seen is the one the guy used a lawnmower choke cable , ran it under the torquetube to the front of the ratchet pawl and attached it to a small hole there on the inside edge . Just pulled the choke cable with his left hand while the brakes were applied . It left his left foot and right hand free to do what they are supposed to be doing ( clutch and governor ) . The second benefit was the ratchet couldn't be accidentally engaged because the cable was pushing it up . Never heard of that happening but I suppose it could . Some fabrication of brackets was required to hold the cable to the front brake cover bolt and the top to the steering post . This was on a M .
