Jay, I don't think he is thinking about grease getting down to the rings. If he fills cylinder with oil and make sure valves are closed on that cylinder, the grease gun puts out in excess of 1000psi. Therefore he will be using high presure to get piston to break loose.HTH Keith & Shawn
