I TALKED TO A FRIEND WHO KNOWS MORE ABOUT IH THAN I DO, AS HE REMEMBERS,THE SHIFT LEVER FOR THIS TRACTOR IS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE DASH,IF SO, HE SAYS THE PROBLEM IS PROBABLY THE ROLLERS ON THE SHIFT CAM.THIS IS LOCATED UNDER THE TRANS COVER AT THE OPERATORS FEET. TAKE THE COVER OFF AND TURN IT OVER,YOU WILL SEE THE ROLLERS.PROBABLY ONE OR MORE OF THE ROLLERS WILL BE WORN.IF SO REPLACE THE ROLLER AND PIN... ALSO CHECK THE LINKAGE BETWEEN THE TRANS AND SHIFT LEVER FOR WORN CLEVISES AND BELLCRANKS
