I don"t think that I would weld it. I"m guessing that the weld
would break loose again and then you"d have a boogered up axle
and/or hub. If you replace the hub, the axle may be okay yet. It
would be an easy fix if that"s the case. I have a W-4 that does
the same thing. I"m trying to pretend the clunk is not there.
