If your hood is fitted properly there will be clearence all around the hole and the muffler sets above the hole there wont be any problem. You mite need a new pipe coming out of the manufold to get good fit and clearence. Not that hard to get another one as it is standard 1 1/2 pipe you will have to use torch to get old one out. Mite have to take manifold off and then to a repair shop an let them do it.
