The price sounds very good, if it's in as good of shape as you say. They had around 60 or 70 horse, think they only had 540 PTO, dual hydraulics, in a way. They had one out the back, and one on either side of the steering column for the cultivators. You can run hoses back from one (we use the right one, so the right lever runs it) and have couplers in the back. I don't really know what could be the problem with the gear. Might be something simple like the linkage needs some adjustment. Might be something big like the gear is worn, shifter fork is worn, bearing, etc. How bad is it? If you are just going to put around the farm with it with small loads, you can probably get by. Try the link that should be here. These guys know a lot more about the "newer" tractors, and there area couple of IH repair guys that might be able to off some help with the gear issues. Sounds like a deal to me. Aaron
