A few years ago, my brother had similar problems with his 684. He would disconnect the fuel line at the inlet to the fuel filters and use the air compressor to blow air back into the tank and then the tractor would run great for a day or week or a month. Finally he had time to take the fuel line outlets out of the bottom of the fuel tank and there was the remains of a lady bug in the right side tank.
When you disconnect the fuel line at the inlet to the fuel filters the fuel must flow out at the full of the pipe or you will have problems.
