Red Raider: You said it is CONSTANT at all RPM and oil temps? That gives me a hint that it may be the gauge itself? It often is a flat needle pushed down on a small shaft. If over time it becomes a bit loose, it could cause a tick from normal engine vibration? Just guessing because you seem to think your engine is in very good shape other wise. Try another gauge? Memories of an IH Super A When I was ? up to 10, I worked on my Papaw's farm in Greeneville, TN every summer. As I grew older (7), it was the thrill of my day to ride or drive on the tractor.
