Newly acquired IH 606 -- Where to start?

I just brought home my first ever tractor, an IH 606 Diesel with loader. It is in pretty good shape, very complete, but has sat for 5 years. Where do I start? I'm going to change the oil, hydraulic fluid, etc. Do I need to worry about draining the diesel? I've heard that diesel fuel can last forever, unlike gas. I will replace/clean the fuel filters. Should I worry about changing the hydraulic filters? The best part is that I picked the tractor up for $400. It's got about 6600 hours on the clock, previous owner is a friend of a friend, whom I trust and he said the tractor ran pretty minty when it was parked.
