I must be a little forgiving about spelling becuase I am not the best one. No, I do not mean I bypassed it. I just screwed the whole thing out of the gas tank...and found a hole down through the middle of the sedament bowl--I just press fitted a small piece of pipe into the hole so that the fuel would enter at higher level and the trash remain on the bottom of the tank.
