Not many, if any, Super A's had waterpumps. I think that started with the Super A1 (late 1954) Geeze, there was just an A block on ebay for sale for $40 and nobody bid. You could find it on ebay if you did an advance search for ended items. Just type in "Farmall block". It was in Maryland, and the seller wanted it picked up (would not ship) - which is probably why nobody bid. On a related topic, I bought a 140 block on ebay a few weeks ago for $100, point being, a good rebuildable block with no cracks is probably going to run your pal about $100 to $150. mike
