I have a 3 point on my SMTA that looks like the Saginaw but isn't. Was on it when I got it. Has the same 2 cylinder option and removing a pin to remove down pressure. Nice thing about them is that with the pins and snap clips you can remove the arms easily if you are using some thing that they interfere with. Like my baler. And you can still use original drawbar. I have had problems with front of it being light but only when using a heavy 3 point disc. I have seldom used the down pressure. Only time I remember was using a subsoiler and it was not to push it into the ground but rather to keep it at a set depth. ONly other problem is that on some tools ytou can't get them down far enough before the arms hit the drawbar.
