A fresh mix of 50% antifreeze and 50% distilled water is ideal. If you look at the label on an antifreeze container, it will indicate the protection lever at various mixes. That will give you an idea of where you need to be at. An antifreeze tester is also a very helpful tool to indicate protection. Also be careful when purchasing antifreeze, for the fact that some is sold as straight etheyln-glycol (antrifreeze), and sometimes it's sold as a pre-mix (50% water...50% antifreeze). You don't want to inadvertantly dilute the premixed stuff with water again. I've seen that happen in the past. Good luck! Billy
