George: Back 3 years ago when I had to replace the radiator in my 140, I went to a local radiator shop and had them do a recore. I did that as there is a large number of antique tractor collectors in this area that strongly recomended the shop in question. The recore cost very close to new radiator price. At that time I was seeing a lot of discussion on this forum about new aftermarket radiators that were not the right size to fit under the hood of a particular tractor. I is my opinion that local radiator shop has the old radiator, not much chance for a mistake in size. I have been quite happy with my decission back then. I will warn you however, pick a radiator shop that knows tractors, we've also heard recore disasters, here on discussion.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
