Tom, don't give up completely on that belly pump yet. If you are pulling a plow, it's working the tractor hard, and everything is getting very warm. As the oil in the pump gets warm, it thins somewhat, and a worn pump becomes even weaker with thin oil. Before I'd take the pump out for repair or replacement, I'd drain the oil and replace it with SAE 40 non-detergent. It might make enough difference in a worn pump to let it lift that plow more easily. Another option could be to replace the plow cylinder with another cylinder having a larger bore. A larger diameter cylinder will lift more on the same pressure.
