51Hwf...I'm not an expert on this, but I can give you a few hints. There seem to be two basic decals--mylar, with the clear section in between the letters, and vinyl--where the letters are cut out and there is no clear section. You appear to have mylar. I'm not sure whether these need to be put in water first (I think so), but I can tell you that the clear section DOES stay there. I'm sure others on the site can tell you a lot more. David
