It was an MV. We used the Allis 180 and a Super M extensively on Fay's Funny Farm. Both tractors have their place, but that 180 did things it wasn't designed to do for forever. The Super M did things it was designed to do for forever. That's the main difference. That and the damned starter on the Super M kept locking up..... Of course IH did sell a few more of the M series than Allis did the 180 series, oh about a zillion more.....
