I kinda thought that tractor might catch someone's eye. It did mine when I bought it about six years ago. It is a Series 3 made in the sixties. It is the only non-IH tractor that I own. For those who don't know about Field Marshalls, they are a 40hp, single cylinder, two stroke, diesel. They were imported into Canada. I am guessing not more than 2000. I think most of them found their way to small grain country. It starts with a specially loaded shotgun shell and a whack with a hammer on the firing pin protruding from the starter chamber. As you might guess, I have not started that tractor. Parts are still available from a successor company in East England. I would like to restore it, but it is way down on my priority list. I would be willing to listen to offers.
