I own a '53 Super M. It was purchased new by my father in law and used on the farm until he retired about 15 years ago. So like your "new" tractor, mine has great sentimental value to my wife and myself. Post your questions anytime - I'll answer 'em if I can! Regarding your current "no start" problem it might be a jammed starter bendix. Try loosening the starter, wiggling it around and retightening. Another likely culprit is a bad starter switch - remove it and clean the contacts underneath. ...Bob M

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
