130 Axle Leak

Ok, I'm going to tackle the axle leak on the left side on my 130, in a couple of weeks. I'm trying to get everything ready, and I have a few more questions. I'm planning on cleaning the transmission and final drive at this time, and just wanted to know, what oil is leakning out onto the brake band. I assume it's the axle seal, but the transmission oil doesn't enter that cavity does it? I plan aon disassembling the final drive and cleaning the gears, and painting it, while I have it apart. What gaskets will I need to replace, and can someone give me an overview of what I need to do?
