Don't overlook the possibility that the new condenser might be bad. I fought with a new condenser for several hours one day, only to find the "new" one bad. Bob's tests should narrow things down. If your cables / ends are getting hot, & other tests don't prove out problems, check ends of cables . The neighbor up the road had his M's cable ends get hot. I cut the terminal off & soldered on a new lug, & he had no more trouble. Just because a terminal looks good, doesn't mean it is.
