Are you are looking at the "IH Tractor Data Book" ? I may have never noticed if you had not mentioned it, bit your wording above is exactly what mine says. I believe your correct on the typo. I was refering to my parts manual when I made the previous post. P.S.- I am familiar with the "high speed low & reverse attachment", as our 504 has it. It's probably great for loader work, otherwise I don't like it. It's really the only thing I don't like about that tractor. David
