The pin is roughly 3/8 or 7/16 dia. (anybody know the proper size?) and its about 2 inches long going off memory. It may or may not have little caps on either end of it depending on whether its been taken out before. Look at the base of your shifter where it goes into the platform, you"ll see the hole that the pin goes through. It runs sideways parallel with the axles. It can be driven either way although its either to go away from the steering post as that can get in the way. Press down firmly on the shift lever while driving the pin out as this will help line everything up and allow the pin to slide out easier.
