1466 steering

I put new pump in it twice in five years, and it still steers kind of stiff, worse when loader is on it. Brakes work fine and bushings are good. Wonder if its in the orbit type motor under the steering wheel? Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how to solve. Five years ago i had a local mechanic put in a straight shaft in place of park, don't know if this has anything to do with it but start steering hard not long after. Thanks for any replys.
